As the busy travel season draws near, I wanted to share five of my favorite travel gadgets that have forever changed how I travel.
1. A universal cell phone clamp holder will be your best travel companion. It is lightweight, compact, and versatile. Use it as a phone stand, clamp, or hands-free phone holder in flight, at the office, or anywhere. A few on the market also expand to hold your iPads. One of my faves is the Universal In-Flight Airplane Phone Holder.
2. As someone who travels with multiple devices and their ever-present cords, I have learned to appreciate a tech organizer. The Magnetic Cord Organizer is my go-to for travel. And related but not related, I have come to adore the Appliance Cord Holder for all of my home appliances. My pantry is now free of hanging and unorganized cords.
3. The ability to have your most important items close to you prompted me to find the perfect boho belt bag. I love this Ashya bag created by American & Jamaican designers. Ashley Cimone and Moya Annece. It has become part of my travel wardrobe and is worth the investment. The brand is an “ode to exploration,” The motivation from global black, grown, and indigenous communities have me ready to purchase my next bag.
4. I confess I am a shopper. I travel so that I can shop in new cities and countries. There, I said it. My favorite tote to fold and place in my suitcase, knowing it won’t come home empty, is this bag by Rochelle Porter. The nod to sustainability in packing a reusable shopping bag while also having a punch of color as I shop makes this item a must.
5. Sneakers | Traveling in comfort is a must these days, and I have found a comfortable sneaker that is fashionable and lightweight. The Sorel Kinetic Impact Sneaker is a great shoe for travel and comfort.
Happy Travels, my friend!
