Home Decor for Early Spring
Spring is right around the corner. FINALLY!
Decorating for Spring is something I always look forward to each year. It’s when the house comes alive and becomes more bright and colorful.
Spring Candles for the Home
My absolute favorite is the Inhale the Future Exhale the Past Candle by The 125 Collection. Created to inspire, motivate and entertain with approximately 80 hours of burn time and made with vegan soy wax.
This candle is inspired by 28th Street in New York. 28th Street Flower Market is the perfect way to bring in the Spring.
And you know my go-to candles are made by Nest. During this time of the year, I stock up on the Himalayan Salt Classic.
Flowers on the Coffee Table
Putting fresh flowers on your coffee table is one of the best ways to decorate for Spring at home. Flowers in pitchers or bowls are one of the most classic spring home decor ideas. Here is a simple arraignment made with roses on a coffee table tray.
I also love this simple yet elegant look. But, of course, you can also use your old candle holders for this look.
Cherry Blossoms
The artificial flower market has improved dramatically, and you’d be amazed by some of these super real-looking flowers! What’s excellent about artificial flowers is that they require no maintenance and last forever! No picking up dried flower petals, no watering, and no expensive purchases!
Spring Mantel Decor
Now let’s talk about the mantel. Decorating your fireplace mantel for Spring can involve a few different color concepts. You may want to keep it neutral, or you may want to add pink, blue, and other pastel colors later on in the Spring. However, I always start with a pop of green to introduce Spring into the family room. For this year, I am going with a eucalyptus garland.
You can choose any vibrant garland as a spring decoration and use it in almost any room of your home in one way or another. For example, you could drape it over the fireplace mantel, hang it on your bedroom headboard, drape it over the bathroom mirror, or line your kitchen range hood. There are many ways to use this charming spring decoration! Here are a few fantastic garlands from Wayfair:
Spring Kitchen Decor
Decorating the kitchen for Spring can be as easy as throwing a few flower stems in a dramatic vase and placing it in the middle of your kitchen island counter.
Pink Peonies
Pink peonies are one of the most popular spring home decorating flowers! These round and layered flowers come in a pastel pink tone that many women, including myself, adore.
Recycle Glass Vases
We purchase fresh juice from a local juice bar, and they serve the liquid in these glass jars. I rinse them and use them as vases. They look fantastic on my window sill or a bookshelf.
Serving Trays
I saw a similar arrangement at my neighbor’s home last year, where she used a three-tier tray on her kitchen island filled with goodies, including flowers. It’s simple, elegant, and classic. Here are a few trays to consider:
